Rose Cookies For Valentine’s Day

The wet-on-wet rose is one of my favorite techniques to use in cookie decorating! I’m really into golden yellow right now and I love how it pops on these rose cookies. You can find the heart shape cutter that I used here at Ann Clark Cookie Cutters!rose-hearts-resized

Here’s what you’ll need to make these rose cookies for Valentine’s Day:

  1. I am having the hardest time with the icing consistency. I don’t know if it’s the recipe or just me. I thought I made a good thick icing for detail but it’s just running all over the place. I used egg whites vanilla and con.sugar. Your cookies are beautiful and I’m just getting so frustrated. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

  3. I just wanted to let you know that I love your videos and love watching them anytime, but I tend to actively seek them out when I am upset and need to calm down!

  4. I attempted your cookie decorations. Didn’t do bad for my first time. Love this website.
How do you store the left over frosting?

  5. What a beautiful and romantic set! And as always I am amazed at your wet-on-wet skills. I’ll never be quick enough to make such elaborate designs. But who cares, as long as I can regularly enjoy your cookies 😄
