Gold Marbled Cookies – Wedding Tutorial Collaboration

One of the best things about being part of the Tastemade network is that I have the opportunity to work with a group of amazingly talented sugar artists on collaborative projects. Montreal Confections, Haniela’s, Julia Usher, Happy Cakes by Renee and I got together to create a playlist that consists of wedding cake and cookie (and cookie-cake) tutorials.
For my part of this collaboration, I created a tutorial on how to make these gold marbled cookies. Gold-Marbled-CookiesHere’s what you’ll need for this project:
Colors:
  • Cream = A touch of Wilton golden yellow or buttercup yellow
  • Brown = Wilton brown + juniper green
Watch the video to learn how to make this gold marbled design:

  2. Amber, I am so mesmerized by your work. You are my mentor and I can’t thank you enough for all of your videos
(I have purchased everyone of them).
I admire your extraordinary talent. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

  3. These sophisticated cookies are so pretty. What a brilliant idea to use the gold paint with the icing as a wet-on-wet technique. Beautiful, as always!

  4. I love the way you swirled the lines of luster dusting into the icing…I was wondering how you got those to shimmer so beautifully. I love watching you decorate.
This cookie would be beautiful at any elegant function.
