I consider my house to be the home of the Brady Bunch in cat form. When my significant other and I combined our households into one, we ended up with two of everything including 2 pairs (pair?) of cats. It took them a few months to get used to each other, but now they can all at least stand to be in the same room. Sometimes they can even share a couch.

I tried to capture the characteristics that make each cat unique. (Clockwise from left) Eddie has a teddy bear face, Kraemer has a skinny head and a mane, Tubby has a peanut butter face, and Missy is calico with raccoon eyes.
I've had this cat cutter for a long time and I cannot remember where in the world in came from. I thought maybe it was from a Wilton assorted set of cutters, but I couldn't find it on their site. I did, however, find a similar shape at Cheap Cookie Cutters!
I ended up trimming off what I think is supposed to be the end of the tail so that I could make their tails wrap around the front. This cookie was made using my Orange Vanilla Spice recipe, which is available in my tutorial shop.
This is my cat color palette.

The cat cookie shape came from a 30 piece set from Wilton.

Oh my goodness, does my cat EVER have nicknames! His name is Winston, he looks sort of like Tubby up there, and my roommate and I refer to him in the following fashions: Baby, Buddy, Winstoner, Winstonian, Chunkmaster Supreme, Fluffy Nugget, Fluffy Nut, Fluffeh, Kitty, Cat, Dude, Fluffy Butt (can you tell he's fluffy?), and, occasionally, Farty McStinker. I have also called him Lord Fluffypants before, and she has called him Poop, for reasons unknown. I think she originally called him Boop and then it just deteriorated real fast.

Por favor, como puedo hacer la masa exacta para galletas, ya que siempre me salen muy feas aunque use moldes, nunca me salen como la figura del molde que uso, siempre se deforman y me salen feas. Gracias
Loveeeee. As much as I love cats I have no idea why I haven't purchased a cat cookie cutter! Funny that I called my toy poodle Missy Elliot and her nickname.
My cats name is Java, but I have always called her baby kitty. So then nicknamed her, baby kit, wanona, baby princess kitra, bae cat, and bk. We just got a new edition, Turbo, but his only nicknames so far are turbs, turbasorusrex, turby, and turbwurb.

Thank you, Barbara! It's nice to know that you are a fellow cat lover 🙂
These are adorable!
Thank you, Dona!!
Hola, Amber! LEONOR.
Your cats sound so precious, Leonor!! I traveled with Eddie and Kraemer from Chicago by car. It was difficult, but well worth it! Thanks for sharing 🙂
They are so adorable! I was wondering what type of breed Sir Edmund Hillary III was?
Thanks, Arleth! Ed was actually a barn cat, so I'm not exactly sure what breed he is, but he has the characteristics of a blue or lilac point Siamese. He was a little ball of fluff when he was born, so the vet thought he might be Himalayan, which is the reason for the name! Lol!
Your cats are so beautiful! I love them! I find cat cookies hard... I can never really make them look detailed. So glad to see yours!!
Thank you, Alexis! I was nervous about them at first, but they turned out! 🙂
These cookies are soooo adorable. & thanks for sharing images of your actual babies, next to the cookies. Really brings them to life -- BIG fun!!
Thanks, Barb!! 😀
quisiera saber la masa de las galletitas gracias
Adorable! You really captured them! Will it be fun to eat them? Yes, our cats have nicknames!

Thanks, Gigi! I love your cats' nicknames!
OH MY GOSH! Your kitties (both kinds) are so cute!!! We've always had lots of nicknames for our cats, too. Right now, we've got two kitties, Pippa and Squeak. Pippa is Pip, Pipple, Pipster, Miss PIP! and Pea Pip. Squeak is Squeaker, Howler Monkey, Sweet Boy and Mr. Squeak. Our dog's name is Tucker, and he's McGluck, Tucker McGoo, Tucksalot and sometimes . . . Doofus Dog. We love them all! : )
Thanks, Stephane!! Aw, Pea Pip! I love that!! 😀
Even though I have a dog named Rosco AKA Pookie, I have always loved cats. I had one that was with me for almost 19 years. My heart melted when I seen the picture of your Eddie, it looks so much like Samantha did. Such cute cookies 🙂
That's so sweet!! 🙂
These cat cookies came out great and thanks so much for including all the color recipes. I find them so useful! Also, we have a zillion nicknames for our dog! His original name is Sprocket, but his nicknames evolved starting with: Sparooki, Spaharooki, Spaloo, Loofa, and ending with Lulu. Oh my! 🙂 Also, the cheap Wilton cat cutter just like the one you used can be found in this 50-piece Animal Pals set. https://www.amazon.com/Wilton-Animal-50-Piece-Cookie-Cutter/dp/B0000VMITA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376666520&sr=8-1&keywords=wilton+animal+pals+50-piece+cookie+cutter+set
Oh, great!! Thank you so much for the link! I must have gotten that set at some point because I recognize a bunch of those shapes from my cookie cutter drawer! lol! I love seeing the evolution of the nicknames. It's so funny how that happens!!
Your work is always so neat and beautiful! Love these!
Thank you so much!!
These are completely adorable! COMPLETLY! Makes me want a cat and throw a cat party!
Haha!! I love the idea of a cat party! Thank you!!
