Here is another Christmas cookie set that I made using natural food coloring. In the latest tutorial in the Cookie Art Club, I'll show you how to make these wet-on-wet royal icing decorated cookies for Christmas and I'll show you how I write on cookies without a projector.

When I write on cookies with royal icing without a projector, I use the tissue paper method where I trace a template with an edible ink marker and then transfer the design onto the cookie by tracing the template again so that the ink bleeds through the tissue paper onto the icing.
However, since I don't have an edible ink marker that contains natural food coloring, I had to go with a different method to transfer the lettering onto the cookie so that I could pipe over it. This time, I placed the template over the cookie and poked through it into the icing with my scribe tool.

This is a very tedious process and I wouldn't recommend it if you have to make more than a few cookies like this, but it's a suitable alternative for those of us who don't have a projector at home.
