I’ll show you how to make these hauntingly beautiful potion bottle cookies for Halloween with royal icing, modeling chocolate, and luster dust in the latest tutorial in my Cookie Art Club!
These potion bottle cookies were inspired by a Halloween display that I saw at Bath & Body Works in the mall a couple of years ago. I've kept the photo in my cookie inspiration album on my phone all this time and I finally brought my idea to life!

I used modeling chocolate to make the skeleton cameos on these cookies because I personally think it tastes better than fondant. The downside is that it is much softer than fondant so it can be a little difficult to work with, but placing the modeling chocolate-filled molds into the freezer will make it easier to remove.

I've had the skeleton cameo mold in my collection for years and I can't remember where it came from, but Etsy and Amazon have tons of options for these types of molds (even more elaborate and beautiful than the one I have!).
I made the frame mold myself using Amazing Mold Putty and a decoration that my grandmother gave to me (she gives me a lot of beautiful pieces for cookie inspiration!).
