How To Decorate Adorable Bunny Cookies for Easter
This polka dot Easter bunny cookie is a simpler version of this centerpiece cookie that I shared a few Easters ago ☺️ The cookie cutter that I used is not currently available, but the printable template is included with the tutorial.

Normally, I would use black edible paint for the details on the face, but lately I’ve been challenging myself to use natural food coloring as much as possible! I painted the details with the same colors that I used to color the icing: Slate and Ruby natural food coloring from The Sugar Art.
I painted with the food coloring the same way that I always do, which is to add a few drops of vodka to dilute it. You can learn more about the process of painting on royal icing here.

I decorated some small Easter egg cookies using the wet-on-wet royal icing technique to go with my cute polka dot bunny. This design is one of my favorites because it’s fun and easy to do and it looks beautiful!
This is one of the wet-on-wet designs I’ll be teaching in my upcoming cookie decorating class.
