Fondant Cameo Tutorial

A fondant decoration is a simple way to dress up your cookies and cakes. I made my own mold using Amazing Mold Putty to form this black and white cameo.

The Amazing Mold Putty kit comes with two canisters of putty that you mix together to form the mold. The instructions on the box are easy to follow and it's so much fun to collect little trinkets and buttons for mold making. If you don't want to make your own mold, visit Roll it into a log shape... And press the fondant into the mold. Use a Right after pressing the white fondant into the mold... Roll a marble sized piece of black fondant into a log shape...
Immediately remove the cameo by bending the mold backwards.
Let the cameo dry overnight.
