My calico cat Missy is so sweet and pretty that she needed her own cookie 🙂 I painted her with a combination of powdered and gel food coloring and decorated the cookie with royal icing roses. Hi Amber,
I'm a new subscriber and have enjoyed watching your videos and learning your techniques. I'm trying to recreate the color of green you used for the leaves on the calico cat
frame. It is such a realistic shade of green and I've tried mixing rose pink and a forest green together but my result has much more blue undertone. I even purchased the same brand as you because I wasn't getting it with what I have. Could you advise me on the amounts of each color you're using. Thanks so much.
Patty
Hi Patty! I'm so glad you have been enjoying my videos. I colored the icing by eye so I don't remember the exact amounts that I used, but it sounds like you'll need to add more of the pink food coloring. If you have yellow food coloring on hand you can also try adding a tiny drop of that 🙂
