Here’s what you’ll need to make Calico Cat Cookies with Royal Icing:
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough
- Plaque cookie cutter
- Stiff consistency royal icing plus water for thinning
- Decorating bags
- Decorating tip 3
- Decorating tip 101
- Decorating tip 352
- Couplers
- Flower nail
- Parchment paper or wax paper squares
- Bag ties
- Scribe tool
- Round brush
- Thin brush
- White, black, and red matte color dust
- Wilton pink color dust
- Gold luster dust
- Chefmaster food coloring:
- Sunset Orange
- Lemon Yellow
- Rose Pink
- Forest Green
- Strong vodka or grain alcohol (I use alcohol when I paint on royal icing because it evaporates very quickly, which means that the liquid won’t dissolve the icing.)
- Paint palette or small dish
- Cat template (use mine from the Cookie Art Club or print a photo of your cat)
