One of my favorite things about these turkey cookies is that they're made using a Wilton 10 petal flower cookie cutter. I love finding new ways to use cookie cutters that I already own!

I used the royal icing transfer method to make the bodies of the turkeys instead of piping them directly onto the cookie, which gives the turkey cookie more dimension. This method also allows me to get a head start on my cookies since the royal icing transfers are shelf stable at room temperature once they're dry.

The template to make the turkey bodies is in the Cookie Art Club!
