I made these decorated cookies for Easter with the royal icing basket weave technique and drop flowers. Watch the full tutorial and get the recipes in the Cookie Art Club!
I would have liked to fill these baskets with chocolate mini eggs in those beautiful pastel colors, but I made these cookies around Valentine's Day, so they only had pink candy at the store 😆

Hiding behind these basket cookies are little treat cups filled with candy. You can use baking cups or small paper cups, too! I used a little bit of royal icing to attach the cookie to the cup.

Royal icing drop flowers are so simple and fun to make! I made these drop flowers using a Wilton tip 225 and stiff consistency royal icing.
To make these flowers, hold the decorating tip so that it's touching the surface (I piped these on wax paper), then turn the tip about 90˚ while squeezing the bag. Let the icing dry for a few minutes, then pipe the centers with medium consistency royal icing.
