How To Decorate Sapphire Cookies {time-lapse}

Happy birthday, September babies! Here’s what you’ll need to make these sapphire cookies:

• Roll-out cookie dough (use your favorite recipe or get mine in the tutorial shop)
• Ann Clark jewel cookie cutter
• Flood consistency royal icing
• 12″ decorating bags
• Decorating tip 3
• Decorating tip 1
• Scribe tool
• Stiff brush
• Gold pearl dust
• Alcohol or flavored extract for painting with food coloring (why? read this)
• Paint palette or small dishes
• Colors Blue + a touch of Red from The Wilton Color Right color system
