Decorated Cookies with Edible Flowers
Have you ever decorated cookies with edible flowers? I used pressed violas to decorate these royal icing cookies. I love how they turned out and I hope this inspires you to try it if you haven’t already!
I decorated these cookies live on my YouTube channel last week and you can watch the replay of the livestream here in the Cookie Art Club.

I’m absolutely in love with how these cookies turned out! These are decorated with Cherry Valley Organics edible flowers, The Sugar Art natural food coloring, and Sugar Love Baking Supplies Dessert Bling.
There were several comments on my Instagram and Facebook post asking if you can taste the flowers on the cookies. They’re so thin and delicate that the flavor and texture of the flowers is basically undetectable when you eat the cookies.

This was my first time using Dessert Bling luster dust and it is such a stunning gold! I mixed it with a few drops of Color Solution from The Sugar Art to turn it into a paint.
The brush that I used to apply the thin layer of gold on the edges of the flowers is from Chua Cookie, which is an online cookie decorating supply store owned by Arlene Chua, who many of you know from CookieCon and her appearances on Food Network!
