Groovy Rainbow Tie Dye Cookies with Royal Icing

I created these rainbow tie tie dye cookies with royal icing as a back-to-school set, but they could really be for any occasion. It would be fun to throw a birthday party with this theme!

Here's what you'll need to make these rainbow tie dye cookies with royal icing

  • Orange Vanilla Cardamom Cookie Recipe or Coconut Lime Cookie Recipe (I used the coconut lime recipe - both are in the Cookie Art Club)
  • Flood consistency and stiff consistency royal icing
  • 3" round cookie cutter, T-shirt cookie cutter, ruler and knife to hand cut rectangle and pencil shapes 
  • Scribe tool
  • 12" tipless decorating bags for flooding
  • Peace sign and flower templates (these templates are available to my Patreon and Cookie Art Club subscribers)
  • Parchment or wax paper
  • Edible ink marker
  • Chefmaster food coloring in Deep Pink, Lemon Yellow, Sky Blue, Leaf Green, and Violet
  • Tapered spatula
