Decorated Cookies for Fall
I’ll show you how to make decorated cookies for fall with royal icing pumpkins and brush embroidered leaves in the latest tutorial in my Cookie Art Club!
My daughter is turning 8 this fall so I made these in celebration of her birthday, but you can make these cookies any shape you like for a fall celebration.

I used the brush embroidery technique to add texture to the leaves on these cookies. The full tutorial on brush embroidery along with a tutorial on how to pipe a bead border are available in the Cookie Art Club.
The dimension on the pumpkins is achieved by using a thick consistency of royal icing. My royal icing recipe and instructions on how to make different icing consistencies are in Royal Icing 101.
