Last spring I was contacted by Target to create holiday themed cookies to be photographed and printed on these gift cards.
They first sent me their sketches with some ideas of what the cookies would look like. After a couple of weeks of designing, decorating and making changes, I shipped 15 different cookie designs to the Target headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota to be photographed. They narrowed it down to 7 cookies (5 here and two on the back), photographed the cookies, and printed the photos on the "gift coins", which were then placed in the package that resembles a cookie platter.
