Hostess With The Mostess Feature

I’m so happy to see my cookies featured on Hostess With The Mostess today!

About a year ago I was contacted by Katherine Veitschegger, who was planning a bridal shower for her friend. Each guest at the shower would receive a monogrammed mug from Anthropologie, and she wanted to give a matching cookie to go with it. I actually own one of these mugs, it was given to me by a friend. I use the mug every day and I just think it’s the prettiest thing, so I was very excited to create a cookie based on this design.

I made these cookies using the wet on wet technique, much like the filigree cookie shown in this video.
