Cookies For Mother's Day

While I was doing research for my cracked glaze cookies, I came across lots of Delft pottery and Blue Willow.

Then I saw this plate in a neighborhood cafe and I knew I had to make these cookies.

These are all made using the wet-on-wet royal icing technique.
I've put together a set of these cookies for Mother's Day. They're available here in my shop.

If you'd like to try your hand at using the wet-on-wet technique, consider entering my Spring Cookie Decorating Contest, which is going on now through April 30th.

  1. Congratulations on your excellent work.
I'm from Greece and because unfortunately the icing techniques are not so common here, I would like to ask you about the (blue-white) cookies, how they are made and if there is a relevant video.
Specifically, is it with the technique of stencils - wet on wet and if so are there any technique instructions or by hand over dry icing?
    Thanks in advance

  2. Thank you so much for all of your great tips on royal icing and cookie dough. I’ve been baking for years, but have my first big professional job (150 graduation cookies) coming up next month. I’ll be using your Tips on decorating and packaging in smaller batches. I have loved all of your videos too.

  4. I am from Holland so when I saw these cookies on Pinterest I fell in love with them! They are amazing! You really captured the Delft Blue feel perfectly! You should sell your cookies, they are pieces of art! 🙂
