Solar Eclipse Cookies Decorated With Royal Icing

Here’s what you’ll need to make a solar eclipse cookie
These supplies are available in my Amazon store unless otherwise noted
Supplies (wet on wet version)
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my chocolate cookie recipe)
- 3” square cookie cutter
- 1-½” round cookie cutter
- Royal icing
- Coal Black and Sunset Orange food coloring (I used Chefmaster brand food coloring)
- 12” Decorating bags
- 2 tipless decorating bag
- Decorating tip 2 (I used Wilton brand)
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
Supplies (painted version)
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my chocolate cookie recipe)
- 3” square cookie cutter
- Royal icing
- Coal Black and Sunset Orange food coloring (I used Chefmaster brand food coloring)
- 12” Decorating bags
- 1 tipless decorating bag
- Decorating tip 2 (I used Wilton brand)
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
- Sweet Sticks edible paint in White, Orange, and Yellow
- Sweet Sticks Decorator brushes
- Vodka, grain alcohol, extract, or paint powder activator for painting (as needed)
- Paint palette or small dishes
