The trick to making these cookie seashells look like real seashells is to get the right combination of colors. I used red, yellow, and brown edible paint from Sweet Sticks to get this peachy shade.
It’s helpful to keep an image of a seashell cookie nearby to use as a reference as you paint.
Here’s what you’ll need to make these seashell cookies
These supplies are available in my Amazon store unless otherwise noted
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my confetti cut-out cookie recipe – available to Cookie Art Club members!)

- 12” Decorating bags
- 2 tipless decorating bags
- Decorating tip 2 (I used Wilton brand)
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
- Scribe tool
