Ramen Cookies!

After visiting Japan last year, ramen has become my new favorite meal and now I have to try out every noodle shop that pops up around my home town. I can’t get enough!
These ramen cookies are complete with a tiny egg, fish cake, pork, and edible chopsticks!

Ramen Cookies!
Decorated cookies that look like tiny bowls of ramen!
Materials
- Roll out cookie recipe
- 2-1/4" round cookie cutter
- Wax paper
- Medium consistency royal icing
- Flood consistency royal icing
- Stiff consistency royal icing
- Edible Adhesive
- 12" piping bags
- Decorating tip 1
- Decorating tip 2
- Decorating tip 3
- Scribe tool
- Brush
- Wilton Color Right Set food coloring
Instructions
- Begin by piping an egg on wax paper with medium consistency royal icing and a decorating tip 1.
- Use a scribe tool to help smooth and shape the icing.
- Use medium consistency royal icing and a tip 1 to pipe a fish cake.
- To make slices of pork, start with light brown medium consistency royal icing.
- Pipe a white swirl in the middle and a dark brown outline in medium consistency icing.
- Use the scribe tool to help blend the colors.
- Pipe chopsticks using the dark brown icing and use a scribe tool to help shape them. Allow the icing to dry completely.
- Cut the wax paper into smaller pieces before removing the icing decorations.
- Use the scribe tool to help remove the decorations from the paper.
- Apply a ring of white flood consistency royal icing around the edge of a small round cookie with a tip 3.
- Pipe "noodles" with pale yellow stiff consistency icing and a tip 2.
- Allow the icing to dry completely.
- Cut green sprinkles into small pieces for "green onions"
- Brush the icing noodles with edible adhesive.
- Place the egg, pork, and fish cake on the cookie.
- Add the green onions.
- Place the chopsticks on the edge of the bowl using the edible adhesive.
