Watercolor Baby Shower Cookies
If you saw my last post, you know I’ve got babies on the brain 😉 These watercolor baby shower cookies were inspired by a set of the prettiest paper doilies that I spotted at Micheal’s craft store a few weeks ago. They’re decorated with edible watercolor and edible ink marker. Watch the video below to see how it’s done!

Here’s what you’ll need to make these watercolor cookies:
- Roll-out cookie dough (use your favorite recipe or get mine in the tutorial shop)
- Heart cookie cutter
- Flood consistency royal icing
- Medium consistency royal icing
- 12″ decorating bags
- Decorating tip1
- Decorating tip 2
- Scribe tool
- Brushes
- Edible ink marker
- Alcohol or flavored extract for painting with food coloring (why? read this)
- Paint palette or small dishes
- Colors: Pink & Yellow (The Wilton Color Right color system was used to create all of the icing colors in this set of cookies)
