Unicorn Cookie Time-lapse!

A few days ago, I posted a photo on Instagram of a bunch of cookie cutters I recently got from Ann Clark Cookie Cutters. Here’s a quick video of what I did with the unicorn shape!

Here’s what you’ll need to decorate unicorn cookies:

  1. My daughters are having a joint 4th and 1st birthday party and the theme is Unicorns…I can’t wait to (attempt) to make these! Thanks for the tutorial! I’m thinking of doing the horn solid with disco dust, but basically replicating the rest of your cookie 🙂

Did you allow the flood layer to dry before doing the eye? How did you affix the stars around the eye?

If you make a Craftsy class for this in the next week or so I’m 100% enrolling 😉

    • Hi Jenny! I’m sure they’ll love that! I did the eye while the white flood icing was still wet, but if you want to make things a little easier on yourself, you can wait until the icing is dry and then draw the eye with edible ink marker. I use FooDoodler brand markers.

I also attached the stars while the white icing was still wet.

      • Thank you! I’m going to play around with it this weekend. I’ve got all the supplies and some time to tweak it before their party in 2.5 weeks. Can’t wait to get baking!

  2. Amber, as usual, your work is gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and tutorials, I can’t wait to have your book in my hands!!
