Dripping Rainbow Cookies!

I’ve been so busy lately teaching cookie decorating classes that I’ve hardly had any time to make a tutorial! I’m glad to be back here sharing a new project with you. This week, a few of my Tastemade network friends and I have gotten together to bring you some rainbow themed treats! I made these dripping rainbow cookies using the royal icing transfer method with a little help from gravity. Click here to see all of the rainbow tutorials from Haniela’s, Montreal Confections, Pink Cake Princess, Happy Cakes Bakes and Krazy Kool Cakes.
Rainbow-Cookies3 Here’s what you’ll need for this project:
Colors:
  • Red = Americolor tulip red
  • Orange = Americolor tulip red + Wilton lemon yellow (only because I still don’t have any orange food coloring on hand)
  • Yellow = Wilton lemon yellow
  • Green = Americolor leaf green
  • Blue = Americolor royal blue
  • Purple = Wilton violet
These and other decorating products are available on the recommended products page.

  1. Oh my gosh you are so clever!!! I love your cookies!!! Do you think you can make a swimmer cookie for me to see? Don’t forget I LOVE you iPhone cookies!!!!! Don’t stop making these cookies!!!

  2. I will send you pics for your evaluation and to amuse you (lol). Oh!, I keep botching the rope border – reallyyyyy botched. I have tried other cookies too but did not turn out too well.

  3. Hi Amber,
I made the drip using darker colors. Didn’t come out as good as yours are (lol). The I made them using lighter colors – didn’t like them as much as the darker colors. I also made beads and placed them on the cookies. I was going to take a pic and send it to you but then I saw Haniela did the same (hahahahahaa). Anyway they do not come out as good as what you present. It seems to me I know how to do but can not do… (Smiling.) I guess I need more practice.
