Classic Etch A Sketch Cookie! – Time Lapse Video Tutorial

Here’s what you’ll need to make a Classic Etch A Sketch Cookie:
- Roll-out cookie dough (use your favorite recipe or get mine in the tutorial shop)
- A paring knife to cut the Etch A Sketch cookie
- Flood consistency royal icing – for the red and gray base layer
- Medium consistency royal icing – for the Etch A Sketch logo
- Small decorating bags
- Decorating tip 1 – for the Etch A Sketch logo and hashtag
- Decorating tip 2 – for the knobs
- Decorating tip 3 – to flood the base layer
- Scribe tool
- Gold pearl dust – to paint the logo
- Alcohol for painting with pearl dust (Why? Read this)
- Paint palette or small dishes for mixing paint
- Brushes
- Colors: The Wilton Color Right color system was used to create all of the icing colors in this set of cookies
