Supply List:

  • Gingerbread Cookie Recipe: https://www.dominosugar.com/recipe/fast-track-gingerbread-cookies (replace the baking soda with 1 teaspoon of baking powder and roll the cookies to 1/4″)

  • Royal Icing Recipe: https://www.dominosugar.com/recipe/royal-icing-meringue-powder
  • Template of your house (Take a photo and print it out on a piece of paper. Cut around it on a chilled sheet of cookie dough.)

  • Knife to cut the cookies

  • Flood consistency royal icing for the base layer

  • Medium and stiff consistency royal icing for the details

  • 12” decorating bags

  • Decorating tip numbers 1, 2, and 3

  • Scriber needle or toothpick

  • Rainbow nonpareils (optional)

  • Concentrated food coloring

  • Round brush and fine tip brush

  • Paint palette or small dish

  • Alcohol or flavored extract for painting with food coloring (Alcohol or flavored extracts are used for painting on royal icing because they evaporate very quickly, which means that the liquid won’t dissolve the icing as you are applying the paint. The stronger the alcohol, the better!)
